Research Library
The Library is a research collection and is available by appointment
only. It is the largest known collection of books (over 13,000
books) on the topics of dolls, dollhouses, and teddy bears.
The Research Library also features a large collection of periodicals
on these subjects as well as books on related topics such as
toys, puppets and costumes.
Publications
NIADA Art Dolls, Rich Traditions,
New Ideas. The Museum funded and co-published with
the National Institute of American Doll Artists (NIADA) this
gorgeous 432 page book that displays over 630 dolls reflecting
the works of 160 of the world’s most creative doll
artists who have been awarded membership in NIADA since the
group’s founding in 1963. (2009)
